3 mL (2 mL min.) plasma from 2 Lavender Top (EDTA) tubes OR 2 mL (1 mL min.) serum from 1 SST. Separate plasma / serum aseptically within 2 hours of collection. Ship refrigerated or frozen. .
Usage
This test is intended for use as an aid in management of HBV infected patients and is not intended for use in the initial diagnosis or confirmation of HBV infection. It aids in assessing viral response to antiviral treatment as measured by changes in plasma HBV DNA levels.
