10 mL (5 mL min.) aliquot of random Urine in a sterile screw capped container. Ship refrigerated or frozen.
Usage
Urine chloride helps to assess volume status, salt intake & causes of hypokalemia. Approximately 30% of hypovolemic patients show difference between urine sodium & chloride concentrations. It also aids in the diagnosis of Renal tubular acidosis.
