3 mL (2 mL min.) Serum from 1 SST. Cleanse collection site with NON-ALCOHOLIC agent before drawing blood. Ship refrigerated or frozen.

Usage

Alcohol is a CNS depressant and excess can lead to intoxication and possibly death. Each ounce of whisky / wine increases blood alcohol by 15-25 mg / dL. Women absorb alcohol much more rapidly than men and show a 35- 45% higher blood alcohol levels. Blood alcohol level is a better indicator of intoxication or impairment.
